With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Murphy of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Dr. Robert M Murphy; her children, Allen Walp, Robert Murphy Jr., Theresa Whitley and Edith Murphy; and her parents, H. Andrew Jackson and Eva Jackson.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Christopher Bartkiewicz [Lauren], Geoffrey Walp, Michael Reichard, Jennifer Walp [Galen Waltman], Samantha Branham [Brett], CJ Bailey and Liana Bailey; her great grandchildren, Baya, Ever, Ollie, Blake, Tyde, Jaxon and Bowie; and her siblings, Anna Mae Miller and Andrew Jackson (Shirley). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
