He is survived by: his parents, Bob Derr and Lori Derr of Bellville, TX; his sisters, Aimee Heckendorn (Derek) of Houston, TX, Alyssa Layman (Barclay) of Greenville, SC and Leilani Derr (Justin) of Denver, CO.; and his nephews, Peyton, Little Ryan and Landon.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McMillan-Small Funeral Home (910 67th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572). A reception was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Drift (980 Cipriana Dr a, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572).
