With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Augustus Syme Jr. (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by : his parents, Martha Elleneen Boyle and Samuel Augustus Syme, Sr.. He is survived by : his significant other Jerry Wayne Walker; his daughter Jane Grey Kenna; his son-in-law John Kenna of Atlanta, Georgia; his son John Stennis Syme of Davidson; his granddaughter Margaret Elizabeth Grey Kenna of Atlanta, Georgia; and also Margaret S. Womble of De Kalb, Mississippi..
