She was predeceased by: her father Gerald Ross; her siblings, Marlene Ross Perkins and Jerry Ross; and her stepfather Joseph McKolanis. She is survived by: her mother Ruth Walker Ross; her husband James Hughes; her daughters, Kim Wanson (Tom) of DuBois, PA, Cynthia Kelly (Mark) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Sarah Lundgren (John) of Winchester, VA; and her grandchildren, Cindy Haag (Andy), Damian Jenney (Mandy), Julia Pringle, Catie Lundgren, Zachary Lundgren (Chelsea) and Zane Lundgren. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and twin great-great grandsons.
