She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Phillippo, Jr. and Kathleen Rouse Phillippo; her former husband Donald Lynn Valentine; and her brother Ron Phillippo (Roseanna). She is survived by: her husband Henry "Hank" Vernon Sawyer, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; her children, Doug Valentine (Allison) of Pittsburgh, PA, Vernon Sawyer of Galivants Ferry, SC, Kyle Sawyer (Karen) of Myrtle Beach, Rachel Fowler (Bryon) of Atlanta, GA, April Timko (Jared) of Simpsonville, SC and Megan Sawyer (Jamie Soles) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren, Solomon, Jacob, Donnie, Abigail, Allison, Christian, Lily, Noel, Bodhi, Koa and Lucy; and her siblings, Sharon Harvey (Dave) of Tampa, FL and Don Phillippo (Suree) of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
