She was predeceased by: her parents, Flavel Wayne "Larry" Stevens and Norma Welch Tate; her husband Boyd W. McCarty; and her siblings, Bill Stevens, George Tate Jr. and Candance "Candy" Knapp.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Kay Massie, Dana Evon Massie and Wilbur Wayne Massie; and her stepchildren, Michael McCarty, Deborah McCarty (Edward Mechenbier) and Dale McCarty. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; as well as 2 nieces and nephews.
