She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Lee Clanton and Elizabeth Barfield Clanton; and her husband Paul Ernest "Ernie" Walters. She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Lee and Ashley McClellan (Bobby); her stepsons, Phillip Walters (Jaime) and Michael Walters (Nicole); and her grandchildren, Alexander, Michael Jr., Elizabeth, Avaline and Redden.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mt Elon Baptist Church (1132 W Lydia Hwy, Hartsville, SC 29550).
