She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ray and Virgie Mitchell Goodson; and her siblings, Carolyn Joyce Goodson and Millard Randy Goodson. She is survived by: her children, Jarita Simmons, Wayne Simmons, Jr. and Lee Daniel Smathers; and her siblings, Edith May Brown, Mary Louise Thompson, Helen Marie Bartlette, Elizabeth Ann Archie and Robert David Goodson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
