She was predeceased by: her husband John DeBerry; her parents, Roscoe Barwick and Jewell Fowler Barwick; and her son-in-law Dr. Kent Bryant. She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca "Becky" DeBerry Bryant of Durham; her grandchildren, Jeremy Bryant (Kristen Bryant) and Katelyn Bryant; her great grandchildren, Lucas and Aliyah; her son John DeBerry (Alice DeBerry) of Conway, SC; her grandchildren, Chapele and Sean; her great grandchild Madison; her son Ron DeBerry (Heather) of Decatur, TX; her grandsons, Cooper and Dylan; her son David DeBerry (Beth) of Clover, SC; her grandchildren, Ben and Calla; and her sister Beverly Barwick Rhodes (Doug Rhodes).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Forestbrook Baptist Church (2051 Forestbrook Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (802 N Guignard Dr, Sumter, SC 29150).
