She is survived by: her children, Michael Fryer (Kimberly), Sharon Smith (Thomas) and Gregory Green (Marsha); and her grandchildren, Christi Grant (Chuck), Taylor Fryer (Emily), Matthew Fryer (Taylor), Jacob Smith (Brucie), Austen Smith (Cheryl), Jared Smith (Jesse), Jennifer McGee (Todd), Jessica Merrill (Josh), Gregory Green Jr. (Kate), Miranda Mapula (Kurt), Randall Green Jr., Anna Green, Andrea Green and Cheyenne Green. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, and loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Strand Humane Society in honor of Virginia's lifelong love and compassion for animals. Or make a donation to Hospice of Georgetown and Horry County.
