He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Warren Derrick and Helen Slaughter Derrick; and his siblings, Dr. Charles Warren Derrick, Jr. and Susan Elizabeth Derrick. He is survived by: his wife Jo; his pet Lucy; his children, Robert Warren Derrick (Kelly) of Georgetown and Karen Derrick Fairley (Dan) of Charlotte, NC; and his stepdaughters, Melanie Stanley (Stacy) of Galivants Ferry and Leigh Polk (Chuck) of Florence. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Helen and Warren Derrick Endowed Scholarship Fund at Wofford College, awarded to students from Marion County.
