He was predeceased by : his parents, Marion Augustus Perkins and Minnie West Perkins; his wife Joan Bryant Spencer Perkins; his children, William Christopher Perkins and Elizabeth Harper Perkins; and his brother Ridgaway West Perkins.
He is survived by : his daughter Susan Spencer Perkins (John L. Saunders) of Myrtle Beach; his grandson John Linker Saunders (Stephanie Tsoubanos Saunders); and his great grandchildren, Sophia Anne Saunders, Natalie Irene Saunders, John Linker Saunders, Jr. and Anna Jo Saunders. He is also survived by his family as a great man, a great husband, a great father, a great grandfather and a great great-grandfather.
