He was predeceased by : his parents, George Edwin Turner and Eloise C. Turner; and his siblings, Joyce "Tippy" Yarborough, George "Sonny" Turner, Nancy Hall Turner and John Bruce "Buzz" Turner.
He is survived by : his wife Nancy Spivey Turner; his children, Millie Wyse (Jody) of Inman, Myers Jr. (Nicole) of Piedmont and Myra Lawson (Hal) of Wellford; his grandchildren, Elise W. Furness (Phil), Claire W. Medley (Brandon), Mandy Turner-Bramlett (Lance), Mitchel Turner, Connor Lawson and Parker Lawson; and his siblings, Phil Turner (Glenda) and Pat Poston (Herb) of Dalton, GA..
