It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Maxcy Hicks (New Zion, South Carolina), who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Boyd Hicks and Edna Benton Hicks; his son George Maxcy Hicks, Jr.; his great grandchild Hudson David Shuey; and his brother John Boyd Hicks.

He is survived by : his sons, Al Hicks (Floranna) of New Zion, Monty Hicks (Millie) of New Zion and David Michael Hicks of Sumter. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.
