Annette West Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 20, 2026, at the age of 86, Annette West of Newberry, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Annette is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Annette's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Adams and Inez Burnett Adams; her daughter Debbie Berley; and her siblings, Jennie Perry, Frances Harrison, Barbara Jean Glanton, Homer "Buddy" Adams and James Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Worthington (Joan), Cindy Merchant (Bart) and Johnette Shealy (Paul); and her sister Elsie Gary. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
