She is survived by: her children, Tonya Thacker and Jermaine Houston; and her siblings, Mildred V. Harmon, Linda and Johnny Thacker. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove AME Church (12 General Henderson Rd, Newberry, SC 29108).
