He was predeceased by: his parents, George Grady and Tillie Christine Cromer Leitzsey. He is survived by: his daughter Tina Leitzsey of Newberry; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Lory Wicker (Jeff) of Pomaria and Tomi LaChance of Union; his son Chuck Leitzsey (Melody) of Pomaria; and his brother Earl Leitzsey (Gayle) of Newberry. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
