Clarissa Hendrix Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarissa Hendrix of Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Bolin and Thelma Hancock Williams. She is survived by: her husband David Hendrix, Jr.; her daughters, Holly Myers of Newberry and Heather Armstrong (Mickey) of Newberry; and her grandchildren, JD Myers, Cullen Myers, Kella Battiste, Kathryn Armstrong and Charleigh Armstrong. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home (1724 Main St, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
