He was predeceased by: his parents, Harleston Samuel and Mary Lyda McGaha Maw; his wife Evelyn B. Maw; and his siblings, Adger, Alvin, Ansel, Edward, Grady, John, Lewis, Wayne Maw, Mary Elizabeth Maw and Dorothy Steele.

He is survived by: his children, Danielle Quattlebaum (Steve) of Newberry and Marion Daniel Maw (Monique) of Newberry; his brother Sam Maw of Spartanburg; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Conaway and Johnathan Quattlebaum; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Landon and Winter. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
