She was predeceased by : her parents, John Cecil and Olive Stuck Berly; her husband Donald Edward Cochell; and her brother Cecil Berly, Jr.. She is survived by : her sons, Robert Dale (Renee Cochell), Richard Berly (Ann Cochell) and John Hudson (Tracy Cochell); her grandchildren, Ryan Cochell (Lauren), Patrick Cochell (Allie), Burke Cochell (Caroline) and Claire Cochell (Eddie Smith); her great grandchildren, Carter and Ella Cochell; and her sisters, Anne Eberl of Harlem, GA and Peggy Berley of Newberry, SC..

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (2496 SC Hwy 773, Pomaria, SC 29126). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (2496 SC-773, Pomaria, SC 29126).
