She was predeceased by: her parents, Zelotes Balkcom and Gladys Bell Balkcom; her former husband JC Budd; her siblings, Agnes Ard (Taft), Tommy Balkcom, Howard Balkcom and Millard "Junior" Balkcom; and her son James C. "Butch" Budd, III.
She is survived by: her husband James C. Budd; her daughters, Barbara Lamb (Bob) of Newberry, SC and Traci Lawing (Graham) of Pawleys Island, SC; her daughter-in-law Shirley Budd of Beulaville, NC; and her grandchildren, James C. "Curt" Budd, III, Kelly Batts (Chuck), Jennifer Lee Walter (Arthur), Hannah Judd (Shelby), Curtis Lawing and JC Lawing.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Assembly of God (331 St James St, Georgetown, SC 29440). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at the Sampit Methodist Church Cemetery (1309 Saints Delight Rd, Georgetown, SC 29440).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Assembly of God, Georgetown SC or an organization of one's choice.
