He was predeceased by : his parents, John Lyles and Beachie Lyles. He is survived by : his children, Elliott Lyles Jr. (Lex), Christopher Lyles of North Bethesda, MD and Aja Gaulden of Newberry, SC; his grandson Michai Lyles; and his siblings, John Leslie Lyles (Thelma), Rev. James Dufford Lyles (Linda) of Newberry, SC and Rebecca Hodges-Lyles of Newberry, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
