He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch Marvin and Marjorie Hawkins Harmon; his daughter Nancy Belinda Harmon Duncan; and his sisters, Dorothy Davis, Emmie Bannister, Peggy Brannon and Patsy Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Lee Harmon, Jr. (Mary) of Simpsonville, Nikki Horne (Mike) of Prosperity and Gina Harmon of Newberry; and his grandchildren, Deegee VanDonkelaar (William), Jamie Duncan (Heather), Lindsay Duncan, Matthew Duncan (Amber), Lee Harmon (Victoria), Marshall Horne, Ivey Horne (Josh Schneider), Mickey Stroud, Ashlye Parker (Josh), Jackie Stroud and Addi Darnell (Marshall Johnson).
