He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Waties Lumpkin Pope and Thomas Harrington Pope, Jr.; his wife Margaret Christian Pope; his children, Helen Harrington Pinkston-Pope (Loretta Pinkston-Pope), Gary Tusten Pope, Jr. (Faith Marett Pope), Elizabeth Pope Williamson (Jay Francis Williamson) and Ann Stelling Pope; his grandchildren, Caroline Harrington Taylor, Grady Randolph Pope, Charles Harrington Pope and Richard Foster Williamson; and his siblings, Waties Pope Kennedy (Robert) and Thomas Harrington Pope III (Adele). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews.
