Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Grady Eugene leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clifton Sanford and Nannie Lee Morris Sanford; and his daughter Nancy Nicholas. He is survived by: his wife Marty (Marty); and his children, Barbara Hartsoe (Randy) of Greer, SC and James Sanford (Diane) of Travelers Rest, SC. He is also survived by one granddaughter and two step-granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that memorials be made to the James F. Byrnes High School Block B Scholarship Fund.
