James Robinson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Robinson of Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Robinson, Sr. and Gertrude Glasgow-Robinson. He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Hill; his brother Johnny Robinson, Jr. (Robinson); his wife Bessie Mae Tribble-Robinson; his children, April Robinson (Jason Epps), Michelle Robinson (Marvin Thomas) and Robert Tribble (Wilma); his sisters, Bobbie Mae Williams and Virginia Robinson Byrd; his grandchildren, Jasmine Tribble, DeeMeetrice Boyce, Michael Boyce, Jr. (Brittney), Tryan Tribble, Tyler Tribble and Chelsea Goggins; and his great grandchildren, Jamar Hunter, Messiah Boyce and Kaiyr Lindsey. He is also survived by five sisters-in-law, seven brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
