He was predeceased by : his parents, John Chappell and Annie Lou Spotts Chappell; and his brothers, Charles "Chuck" Chappell and Tommy Chappell. He is survived by : his wife Adgie Felker Chappell; his sons, David Chappell of Roebuck, SC and John Chappell (Deanne Sweet) of Newberry; his grandchildren, Logan, Danielle and Blake Chappell; and his siblings, Mack Chappell, Mary Ann Wilson and Don Chappell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Aveleigh Presbyterian Church at 1211 Calhoun Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
