She is survived by: her son Thad; and her brothers-in-law, Willie Buchanan (Robin) and Eugene Buchanan.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Summer Memorial Lutheran Church (1609 Milligan St, Newberry, SC 29108).
