Leonard Boyd Mixson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2025, at the age of 65, Leonard Boyd Mixson of Newberry, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalie Chaplin Mixson of Ladson, SC. and John Mixson; and his close friend Ellie. He is survived by: his siblings, Sharon Mixson Starnes (Kent), Nancy Mixson Davis (Ken), Kenneth (Patricia) and Dennis Mixson (Barbara); and his siblings' children, Cassandra Starnes Teachey (Steve), Elise Starnes Key (Matt), Jonathan Mixson and Jessie Mixson (Elisha).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lowcountry LEAP Ministries or Meals on Wheels.
