She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Davenport and Bessie Lee Robinson. She is survived by: her daughters, Joann Benson Suber Wilson and Tanya Benson Graham; and her siblings, Dean R. Young, Jerry L. Young and Brenda I. Green. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity AME Church (1338 Green Tree Rd, Newberry, SC 29108). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at the Elisha AME Church Cemetery (510 Elisha Church Rd, Silverstreet, SC 29145).
