McHardy Way Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of McHardy Way of Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2025 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of McHardy Way to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Powell E. Way, Jr. and Elizabeth Mower Way; and his nephew Scott Moore. He is survived by: his children, McHardy "Buddy" Way, Jeremy Bouknight, Jason Maroney, Leanne Harrison and Jessica Bullard; his siblings, Powell Way and Elizabeth "Betty" Way; his siblings' children, Amy Nichols and Brett Moore; his close friend Wilson Bowles; and his caregivers, Denise Pitts and Sylvia Bouknight. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
