She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mosby "Bob" Dawkins and Doris Bowers Dawkins; her husband Belton Wright Dennis; and her brother Bruce Dawkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynette Ballington (Keith) and Donna Dennis (Randy Oliver); and her sister Barbara Dawkins Boland.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home (1724 Main St, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the St. Lukes Lutheran Church (1605 Main St, Newberry, SC 29108). A burial was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at the Rosemont Cemetery (2699 College St, Newberry, SC 29108).
