He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Coppock and Mary Auton Coppock; his wife Brenda McCartha Coppock; his siblings, Ethel Gail Coppock Doolittle and Steve Coppock; and his brother-in-law Chester Doolittle.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Olin Coppock (Candice) and Chad Patrick Coppock (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Britt Coppock, Haven Coppock, Madison Coppock, Catherine Coppock, Reese Long and Katerina Koon (Patrick); his great grandchildren, DaVina Byrd, Weston Byrd, Colt Coppock, Laikin Coppock, Levi Koon and Lily Koon; his brother Wayne Coppock (Lynn); his sister-in-law Judy Coppock; and his close friend Star.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home (1704 College St, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Newberry Memorial Gardens (15127 C R Koon Hwy, Newberry, SC 29108).
