She was predeceased by: her husband James Donny Sligh; and her parents, Nolan Sam and Minnie Vaughn Myers. She is survived by: her children, James Allen Sligh (Lisa) of Newberry and Melissa Sligh Dennis (Robert) of Newberry; her grandchildren, Alli Sligh Graham (Jackson), Madison Dennis Fulmer (Chris) and Clayton Sligh Dennis (Jessica); her great grandchild Case Graham; her siblings, Linda Kinard (Steve) of Newberry, Sandra Hill of Prosperity and Jerry Myers (Shirley) of Prosperity; and her close friends, Kenny and Cheri Graham.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home (1724 Main St, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church (1515 Boundary St, Newberry, SC 29108).
