He is survived by: his parents, Jannie Chaplin White and Louis Sims of Newberry, SC; his children, Precious Bates of Newberry, SC, Princess Bates of Newberry, SC, Samuel Chaplin of Newberry, SC, TaVarius Chaplin of Newberry, SC and DeMarcus Chaplin (Asia) of Whitmire, SC; his friend Willie Gallman of Newberry, SC; and his siblings, Tina Sims of Columbia, SC and Rendell Sims of Newberry, SC. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three aunts, other relatives and friends.
