She was predeceased by: her parents, Billie Junior and Hazel Connelly Barnette; her children, Robert Michael Hawkins and Crystal Michelle Duke; and her brothers, William Russell Barnette and Thomas Andrew Barnette.
She is survived by: her husband Oscar Ray Slice; her children, Cynthia Gregory (Billy Kay) of Irmo and Shawn Gaskin; and her siblings, Mickey Lee Barnett (Linda) of Newberry and Tina Barnette Fulmer (Joel) of Little Mountain. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
