He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion E. Pitts and Cornelia Mills Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Amick Pitts; his sons, Zachary Pitts (Brandi) and Joshua Pitts (Erin); his grandsons, Wyatt Pitts, James Pitts and David Pitts; and his sister Ginger Weir.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (1160 Trinity Church Rd, Newberry, SC 29108).
