He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Sr. and Leila Raines Abell. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Yarborough Abell; his children, William Andrew Abell (Michelle), Clark Henry Abell (Susan), Richard Bennie Abell (Lorraine), James Arthur Abell and Anna Dillard Wilson (Chet); and his siblings, Willie Mae Johnson and Melvin E. Abell (Karen). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Methodist Church, 1150 Zion Church Road, Blythewood, SC 29016.
