He is survived by: his wife Gladys McAlister Evatt; his sister Martha Stephens of Newry; his daughters, Gail Bond of Boiling Springs and Cindy Underwood (Rodney) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Eric Owens (Leigh), Courtney Bond of McDonald, PA and Misty Horne (Gregg) of Mauldin; his stepgranddaughter Jennifer Anaya of Wilmington, NC; and his great grandchildren, Isabelle and Walt Horne of Mauldin.
