She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey B. Stanton, Sr. and Mary V. Stanton; her husband John B. Willoughby, Jr.; her son John Anthony Willoughby; and her siblings, Dewey, Richard, Douglas Stanton, Jeanette Amspacher, Bobbie Jean Huggins, Barbara Uber, Carolyn Stanton and Margaret Stanton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly W. Fail (Matt) of Wilmington and Amy Willoughby of Durham; her grandchildren, John, Carmen, Miranda, Kaitlyn and Brandon Willoughby; her daughter-in-law Patricia Willoughby of Cary, N. C.; her siblings, James Stanton (Pat) of Jacksonville, N. C. and Rosemary Buffkin of Mullins; her children, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Hui Feng of Cary, N. C.; and her sister-in-law Raymonda W. Smith of Mullins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (1950 Mt Olive Church Rd, Nichols, SC 29581). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
