She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edwin Crawford and Luttie Mae Alford Crawford; her husband Lucian Norwood Norton, Jr.; her son Lucian Norwood "Lou" Norton, III; her brother James Bryant "JB" Crawford; and her pet Chi Chi.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Edwin Norton (Robin) and Jim Crawford Norton (Cindy); her niece Lori Jacquelyn Jones; her brother James H. Collins; her grandchildren, Gina Norton Gibeaut, Cheryl Norton, Skylar Norton and Lou Bird Norton (Christian); and her great grandchildren, Arcee and Valen.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Meares Funeral Home (6227 US-76, Mullins, SC 29574). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church (4889 US-701 Hwy, Conway, SC 29526). A burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the Zoan Methodist Church Cemetery (12345 W Hwy 19, Loris, SC 29569).
