He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Jackson Jones, Sr. and Ester Vera Jordan Jones. He is survived by: his wife Donna R. Jones; and his siblings, Lushion Edward "Ed" Jones (Gloria) and Ester J. Ammons. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (1950 Mt Olive Church Rd, Nichols, SC 29581). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
