She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Davis and Ruth Walden Townsend; her brother Joel Walden Townsend; and her sister-in-law Mary Florence Shelley Elvington (Teresa Irene Grace Elvington). She is survived by: her friend Mary Florence; her daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Egor Shulman), Linda Katherine and Charlotte Townsend (Jack Reed); her grandson Daniel Hudson Shelley; her niece Harriet Elvington Enzor; her siblings-in-law, Jean Shelley Andrews, C. P. and Betty Mincey; and her nieces and nephews, Julie Andrews Barr, Susan Townsend Rogers, Cindy Mincey Legette, Charles Mincey and Kenneth Mincey. She is also survived by great nephews and nieces, and a host of relatives and friends.
