He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hunt and Bernice Gray Hunt; his wife Sandra L. Hunt; his son Douglas Hunt; his stepson James Osgood; and his siblings, Jerry Hunt, Linda Granato and Marable Kratewski.
He is survived by: his son Steven Hunt of Stafford Springs, Connecticut; his stepchildren, Nancy McCuen of Enfield, Connecticut and John Viens Sr. of West Springfield, Massachusetts.; and his daughter-in-law Mary Osgood of Nichols. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
