He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Grunert and Constance Victoria Wilkins Grunert; and his wife Phyllis Hoyt Grunert. He is survived by: his children, Peter Cecil Grunert, Cynthia Stoorza and Carrie Chenault (Anthony). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
