He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Edwards and Annie Lethia Richardson Edwards; his wife Virginia Saville Edwards; and his sisters, Maxie Edwards (Rupert Edwards), Eula Lewis, Bessie Pridgen, Frances Edwards, Gertrude Cole, Flossie Proctor, Iola McClellan, Victorine Capps, Annie Avery, Betty Humphrey and Helen Browder.
He is survived by: his daughter Rena E. Jackson (Glenn Herring) of Nichols; and his pets, Jack and Jill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cox-Collins Funeral Home (715 S Main St, Mullins, SC 29574). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Watson Cemetery.
