She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie James Spivey and Louise Capps Spivey; her husband Larry Stroud; her brother Bobby Spivey; and her brothers-in-law, Shelton Williams and Keith Morgan.

She is survived by: her siblings, Charles D. Spivey (Judy), Judy Richardson (Frank), Betty Faye Williams, Lonnie Peavey (Freddie), Deborah Strickland (Jerry), Cynthia Morgan and Annette Davis (Richard); her friend Rhonda Gore; her close friends, Linda Register and Betty Mack; and her pets, Rambo and Diva. She is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews.
