With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Irvin Hicks of Ninety Six, South Carolina, born in Seguin, Texas, who passed away on January 24, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles George and Norma L. Clark Hicks; and his brother Dale Allen Hicks. He is survived by : his wife Leslie Bashnan Hicks; his children, Kristine Hicks Laca of Montevideo, Uruguay and Robert Edward Hicks (Angela) of Leonardtown, MD; his grandchildren, Alexandra Laca Hicks and Jackson Robert Hicks; and his sister Nancy H. Coursey.
