He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene DeLoach and Mary Long DeLoach of Furman; and his siblings, Homer, Marion, Cyler, Lillian, Leslie, Inez and Lucy.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Donehue DeLoach; his children, Franklin DeLoach, Jr. of Hampton, Brian DeLoach of Hampton, Sylvia DeLoach of Hampton and Dianne Walsh (David) of Hampton; and his grandchildren, Heather Isham, Jennifer Padgett, Alexia Smokes, Scott DeLoach (Naomi), Michael DeLoach (Laurin), Cole DeLoach, Kayla DeLoach, John DeLoach, Stephen Stanley and Nathan Stanley. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
