He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Hilton Nix of Varnville and Lillie Rose Plummer Cook; his stepfather Marvin Cook of Fairfax; his daughter Alexis Nix of Varnville; his grandmother Virgie Plummer of Varnville; his siblings, Amy Felix (Russell) of Fairfax, Ashley Nix of Varnville, Erica Long (Quentin) of Varnville and Brandon Fraiser of Walterboro; and his grandmother Sherby Jean Nix. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, Hampton Chapel (300 Mulberry St W, Hampton, SC 29924). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home (300 Mulberry St W, Hampton, SC 29924). A burial was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Nixville Baptist Church Cemetery.
